These devotions originally appeared in my Daily Bible Devotions which is a free blog written for Christians to encourage a time of Bible reading, meditation, and prayer each day. It is so easy to neglect this great privilege, for a privilege it is when we consider the awesomeness of spending time personally to fellowship and talk with God each day. My purpose in this devotional is to really share with you the reader (Worship Team, Pastor, Leader, Musician, Study Group, etc.), what God continues to remind me of day after day, week after week and is what I believe to be a foundational reason that all of us are created to be worshippers.
As the pastor spoke, thoughts came to me shaped by God. His voice joined my thoughts. He is always speaking whether through worship songs, scripture, through kind actions of others, or even. For me, to be in God’s presence usually begins with intention. I make a decision deep in my spirit to become connected to God. I remind myself of his special qualities and of his faithfulness. I often remember the scripture “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.” James This is a promise that God gives us in his Word.
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops. - Proverbs In the Old Testament, believers did not come to the temple to worship without an offering to give God. Indeed, their offerings were integral, or essential, to their worship of God. While we do not worship in the temple and are no longer required to offer sheep, doves, or grain, we should still regard giving. Experiencing God Day-By-Day is a devotional journal designed to reinforce the spiritual precepts set forth in the Experiencing God book, workbook, and study Bible. There is a page for each day of the year with a Bible verse, a short devotional reading, and a space for your own thoughts and reflections. Its interactive format invites you to trace your journey toward a closer relationship with God.

'When I began the Orphan work inmy chief object was the glory of God, by giving a practical demonstration as to what could be accomplished simply through the instrumentality of prayer and faith, in order thus to benefit the Church at large, and to lead a careless world to see the reality of the things of God, by showing them in this work.
The Rosary. The Rosary, though clearly Marian in character, is at heart a Christocentric prayer. In the sobriety of its elements, it has all the depth of the Gospel message in its entirety, of which it can be said to be a compendium.
